we are having technical problems on website

Posted June 9th, 2008 by bonita.

Sorry but we seem to be having some technical problems on the website. They just switched servers and it seems to be a problem in the process. We have not been receiving some orders or at times it is not allowing you to process your order. I apologize for this inconvenience and realize how frustrating it is! If you would like to place an order and it is giving you dificulties please call us at 310-490-0548 and we can take care of it for you. If you were able to process it can you make sure you get a confirmation email regarding your order, if you did not get one please let us know. If you did get one can you please just forward it to us at info@bonitacreations.com just incase it did not come through on our end and it will make sure there is no delay in getting your order out to you.

Also we are having a problem with the blog where you can post comments. Thank you all who tried and let us know. Hopefully we will get that taken care of soon too. First we will be concentrating on the website order problem first.

Thank you for your patience!

More items added this weekend!

Posted May 29th, 2008 by bonita.

We added some more items this past weekend! There are some nice one of a kinds on there for you to check out! Take a look at the Pink Tourmalines, there are some great new shapes. The hammered Quartz has been a big seller still and alot of repeat buyers on it. I have seen the hammered Citrine put with Aquamarine and it really is sharp. The hammered Crystal Quarts looks great with the Lava and also the Matte Onyx. I have seen some cool rings done w/ the hammered rectangles, they are really fun for summer! Also if you are you looking for something that is pretty and inexpensive then check out the Hypersthene and the Muscovite coins. They really Shimmer. The Hypersthene coins are so sweet and you can make a great multi strand necklace or bracelet that really sparkles for next to nothing with them! It is hard to show in the photo but they really do shimmer! It is also a stone that is not super common and your customers will be fascinated with!

The matte and rough items have still been very popular. They seam to be the items that spark the most interest at the shows because they really are so unique and each stone is so individual. If you have not seen them take a look in the One of a Kinds under Aquamarine in Quartz, Gold Rutiled in Quartz, Emerald in Quartz and the black & Green Tourmaline in Quartz. If you are going to take the strand apart and use just as focals/pendants then the price really comes out to be quite inexpensive when you look at it per piece. It is something special you can add to your line that really makes you stand out w/o breaking the bank!

We are going to be adding alot more items in the next couple weeks so keep checking back!

Contacting us Via Email

Posted May 23rd, 2008 by bonita.

We reply to our emails, sometimes we are at a show which is usually thur-sun and sometimes the internet service does not work where we are. If that is the case we will respond Monday. I know how annoying SPAM is but if you are emailing us please make sure that your incoming mail lets us in your inbox and does not direct us to your SPAM folder. Please always include your phone number incase there is a problem and our emails are not getting through. If you have not heard back from us please contact us at 310-490-0548 because we do respond to all your questions. Sometimes if there is something in the email that the SPAM filter does not like or no subject matter it could end up in the SPAM filter. Thanks!

Show Cancellations:(

Posted May 10th, 2008 by bonita.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the Milwaukee Bead & Button Show in June & the Puget Sound Bead Festival in July. It was a difficult decision and we tried to come up w/ as many solutions as we could and it just would not work out for us. The distance involved and the process of getting our merchandise packed and shipped that distance and then unpacked for the show and of course repacked for the trip back is all very labor intensive as well as the traveling that it is going to be to much to take on due to some medical limitations. I know these are show areas where we only get to once a year and sometimes it is the only time other than in Tucson that you get to see us in person. Sorry for the disappointment, unfortunately there was no other alternative. Hopefully the situation will be different next year. You can always get your fix online, I know its not the same for some of you who like to roll and drool on the beads themselves but it doesnt take long to get them in your hot little hands once your order is placed online!

San Diego Shows with Gem Faire

Posted May 10th, 2008 by bonita.

As many of you know we were considering dropping the San Diego Gem Faire show at the Scottish rite center. We have been in a back room that gets little traffic and has been very difficult to cover our expenses at that show. The promoter was kind enough to move our location and see if this new spot brings us more traffic. We will now be in the Ionic/Doric room booth #85. This room is off of the main Corinthian room but does not connect to it. Hopefully this will work out better for all of us. I know alot of you that are our regulars at that show were disappointed that we might not come back and understanding about the situation. We hope to see you all at the next show on June 20,21 & 22nd at our new location!

New items added!

Posted May 10th, 2008 by bonita.

We just added about 40 or 50 new items to the site. Most of the items are listed under the one of a kind section. There are some really beautiful Brazilian Opal shards, more of everyones favorite Stalactites, some incredible Hemimorphite drusy, amazing Black Tourmaline in Quartz along with some Paraiba Tourmaline in Quartz! Just to name a few, take a look and see if there is anything you can’t live with out! Also some of the strands are longer than your typical 16″ strand and if it is differerent than a 16″ strand the length will be under the description so be sure and factor that in when figuring out your costs.

Road Construction in Tucson

Posted February 3rd, 2008 by bonita.

Plan ahead and allow a little extra time in your travels around Tucson. There are some delays on the freeway as we experienced so check w/ traffic updates and try and avoid some of the problem areas. I believe you can get info at www.i10tucson.com.

Believe it or not its Tucson time already!!

Posted February 3rd, 2008 by bonita.

Today was the first day of one of our Tucson shows and it feels like we were just here! How time flys! We are showing at the Gem Mall and Holidome, the details are under the show schedule page. We had a great response today and made some new clients and saw alot of old ones. I know there is a big buzz about the economy and nobody buying etc. When talking with our customers today about their year in business it was very positive. Everyone was happy with their sales and said they had not been affected by the “slow economy”. We  did not notice today from our customers any concerns or worry about their future sales so I take it as a positive sign and hope everyone ignores all the media hype and fear they try to instill in everyone! So get those creative juices flowing and start creating those pieces and sell sell sell!!
